Frequently Asked Questions
Processing & Shipping
Good question. Short Answer “YES”.
We spend hours growing these plants; we LOVE our plants and don’t want any harm to come to them – so we are really careful of how we pack them; we only post plants we know are healthy and up for the trip; and only post plants that are good travellers.
We only post on Monday. This prevents a plant getting ‘stuck’ somewhere over a weekend.
We use Australia Post Express Post and most plants arrive by Wednesday.
Orders received after 3pm Sunday will not be posted until the following Monday.
Most plants we post in the pot – whilst it costs us a bit more (we cover the postage for you) we believe it results in a much healthier plant your end.
There are a few exceptions like Syngoniums and Sanseiveria which we post semi-bare root, they pack and travel much better this way.
We post to Qld, NSW, SA and VIC.
If you are in WA, TAS or NT – your plants need to go via a Concierge. We are able to hand deliver to a Concierge for you or if you choose another, we can post to them. Please contact us, if you are in one of these plant quarantine states and we will give you further details.
Sorry but we cannot send plants outside Australia.
We supply growing notes with all our plants. And as part of that, always suggest you give your plants a ‘post-travel’ tonic of Seasol (or similar) as per manufacturer’s directions.
If it arrives really wilted – just put the pot in a saucer of water or Seasol (or whatever you prefer) for a couple hours and it should re-hydrate.
We recommend no re-potting for about two weeks from delivery. This just lets the plant settle into its new surrounds before any more disturbance.
Unless of course if it was sent bare-root, in which case it needs to be potted as soon as possible.
It’s very unlikely, but sometimes things happen in the post.
Firstly, unlike other sellers we don’t pass on all the responsibility to you, we believe you should receive a healthy, gorgeous plant regardless of how you purchase it.
So, if it arrives broken? Let us know. We will require pictures of the box and plant. Generally, we will get you to return it to us and we will then provide a replacement. But get in contact and we will work something out together.

Nursery and Plants
We are a growing facility with strict plant quarantine protocols in place, as such we don’t allow visitors.
If you are local and wanting to place a large order, contact us and we will see if we can arrange a collection point for you.
We propagate all our own plants from cuttings or seed – which ever method that produces the best plant – from our own Mother Plants. Our Mother Plants come from a lifetime (or several lifetimes if you include the ones that have come from parents and grandparents) of collecting and nurturing plants.
Some are exceedingly difficult and specialised to propagate; we work hard to bring you the best.
No, sorry we only sell fully rooted, healthy growing plants. Having seen so many small, unhealthy cuttings being sold we made a decision early on, that we would not be part of that market. Some plants will grow easy from cuttings, but others have a very low chance of turning into a gorgeous plant. So, we take the risk for you and only sell the plants that prove themselves.
Just fill in our ‘contact form’ and we will get back to you. We strive to return contact within 24 hours during standard work days.
