Many different variegate patterns occur as you can see from the photos below. Whether you like a lot of white or a little; these plants are stunning. The yellow colour can be intense and bright; or pale and subtle; or somewhere in between. AND the Mother can be pale Yellow but produce bright Yellow pups or vice versa and same with the Whites – so every leaf is a surprise.

And the great thing about them is the white/yellow will last for years and years; it does not turn brown like a lot of other variegate plants. If you like these in the photos, then you are going to LOVE them in real life.

Whale fins are well known to be super hardy and tough; and the variegata forms are no different. Look after them and the leaves will last 10 years or more. If you tend to forget to water your plants – then this is one for you.

Once these plants start to get a few leaves and some reserves; the leaves can grow to OVER 1m tall – imagine the display that will make. Grow in the pot or plant in the garden in strong, dappled light (these guys are not weedy like some of their cousins).
